​A recent prize winner in the Charleston International Music Competition, the North American Virtuoso International Music Competition, the Milal Orchestra Summer Festival and Music & Stars Awards, Mr. Jeffery Ou has studied and performed internationally, with degrees from UNT (MM, BM) where he was an Emerald Eagle Scholar; UT-Arlington (Performance Certificate, Mary Frances Reel Memorial Scholarship); and additional studies at the American Institute of Musical Studies in Graz, Austria, and at Sankt Goar International Music Academy in Germany.

As a student and young artist, Jeffery has received grants from organizations including Musicians Foundation and MusiCares, and his career has been featured in VoyageDallas Magazine in 2020 and 2021. In 2010, he was a Semi-Finalist in Season 4 of America's Got Talent.

Mr. Jeffery has taught private lessons for many years and is excited to begin teaching students of the Aspiring Minds studio!
