Sam Ash holds degrees in Music Education and Music Composition from the University of North Texas, including a minor in Music Theory. In addition to conducting and playing piano, he plays clarinet and performed extensively in the Wind Ensemble and Grammy-nominated Wind Orchestra at UNT. He completed clinical teaching in Eagle Mountain-Saginaw ISD.

Sam has extensive experience in instrumental conducting, having studied with Clay Couturiaux and Daniel Cook. Having studied composition with Andrew May, Sam has written music for piano, strings, brass, woodwinds, and percussion. Find a playlist of Sam's compositions here.
